About
About
A firm built around how the work actually compounds.
Who's behind this
DOT.
DOT founded DOTxLabs in 2019 and has run it ever since. The firm started in Toronto building digital surfaces for service businesses across the GTA and Durham Region. It's now a global build and growth partner with operating anchors in Toronto and Lagos and clients across hospitality, professional services, capital markets, AI-native SaaS, and education.
DOT still leads every engagement. He writes the proposals, runs the kickoffs, designs the architectures, and stays on the work through launch. The firm is deliberately small and deliberately senior. The model is build-and-stay rather than build-and-leave, which means most of the relationships compound across years instead of ending at handoff. DOT signs every contract personally. The work is the firm and the firm is the work.
The firm
A global build and growth partner. Not an agency in the usual sense.
What we do
DOTxLabs builds digital systems for operators. Sixteen capabilities organised into three stages: Build, Grow, Maintain. Custom websites, web applications, internal tools, booking systems, AI workflows, brand work, SEO, content, email, social, and the partnership that holds it together afterward. Most engagements move through more than one stage and stay across years. The full list is at /services.
Who we work with
Operators in hospitality, professional services, capital markets, AI-native SaaS, and education. Founders who already know what they're buying. Firms whose current digital surface undersells the work. Multi-venue groups, regulated industries, and businesses where the operating cost of the wrong stack is now measurable. We say no to engagements that don't fit the firm. The fit conversation happens before the proposal.
Where we work
Toronto and Lagos are the operating anchors. The Toronto base covers North American clients across the GTA, broader Ontario, and into the US. The Lagos base covers Nigerian clients and West African market entry. Engagements run across timezones with structured working sessions and async between. The full geography lives at /where-we-operate.
What's different
A small senior team. DOT runs every engagement directly. No account managers, no junior handoffs, no agency layers between the client and the work. The model is build-and-stay rather than build-and-leave. The infrastructure is custom. The pricing is transparent. The proposals are written, not pitched. The standards below are non-negotiable.
The standards
What we won't ship.
- A site that looks finished but doesn't load.
- A workflow we wouldn't run ourselves.
- A brief we don't understand yet.
- A timeline that asks the client to wait while we figure it out.
- A relationship that ends at launch.
